A value is a person’s principle or standards of behavior determining what is important in their life. A habit is a regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up. Did you know that if you tend to shop the perimeter of the grocery store, where fresh foods like fruits, vegetable, dairy, meat and fish are usually located, this can be an indication that you value your heart health? It is a sign that you are avoiding the center aisles where junk foods and processed foods lurk.
Did you know that if you have an active hobby such as hiking, biking or walking with friends, this could be an indication that you value your heart health? A good rule of thumb is to exercise at least 30 minutes per day, but it’s important to consult your doctor about what is the right amount for you.
