Treating Cardiovascular Disease with Healing the Spartan

Cardiovascular Disease — it is no longer an alien term for individuals.
And almost every other person till now — must have suffered from minor or (even) severe heart problems.

Heart Disease is one of the leading causes of death in the United States. This blog is presented as a sum up of the meaning, types, causes, and preventions against cardiovascular diseases.

So, what is a Cardiovascular Disease?

Cardiovascular Diseases or CVD is a medical term given for the conditions affecting our heart and its blood vessels. Atherosclerosis and Venous Thromboembolism (VTE) — are the leading illnesses related to our heart. Damaged arteries of any organ may also affect our cardiovascular health.

Types of Cardiovascular Disease:

There are four main types of Cardiovascular Diseases:

(I) Coronary Heart Disease:
Coronary Heart Disease is caused by an obstruction in the flow of oxygen-rich blood to the heart. This puts extreme strain on the heart, leading to:

• Angina: Stabbing chest pain caused by restricted blood flow.
• Heart Attacks: Occurs when there is a sudden blockage in the blood flow.
• Heart Failure: Ensues when the heart cannot pump blood throughout the body.

(II) Stroke and Transient Ischaemic Attack:

A stroke occurs when the blood flow to the brain ceases. Such a condition may cause brain nerve damage or even death.

A Transient Ischaemic Attack or TIA happens when the blood flow to the brain gets partially disrupted. This state is also called a mini-stroke.

(III) Peripheral Arterial Diseases:

PAD occurs when the arteries running through the limbs are constrained — specifically in the legs. PAD causes cramping pain and sore blisters all over our legs.

(IV) Aortic Diseases:

Aortic Diseases are a compilation of conditions affecting the Aorta. Aorta is the largest artery in the body — acting as the most prominent source of blood flow throughout our build.

Causes of CVD:

The causes of CVD aren’t quite clear, but the speculated risk factors are stated as below:

  • High Blood Pressure
  • Smoking
  • High Cholesterol
  • Diabetes
  • Inactivity
  • Obesity
  • Family History of CVD
  • Alcohol Misuse

Preventions against CVD:

Lifestyle changes coupled with concierge care, suitable holistic approaches, and the right medicines may help you get good riddance against Cardiovascular Diseases. So, whether you assume yourself to be at risk for CVD or are already suffering from it — a healthy lifestyle can shield you from every alarming condition.

Some of the lifestyle modifications that you can incorporate into your routine to prevent CVD are:
