About
Meet Dr. Corrielus
With over 20 years of clinical experience, my innovative approach to medicine blends heart-centered holistic techniques with traditional values and standards of patient care. Through a focus on comprehensive care and preventive cardiology, I help my patients implement techniques required for sustainable journeys of progressive wellness.
After completing my internal medicine residency at Temple University Hospital, I worked as a primary care provider before entering a cardiovascular fellowship at Howard University Hospital. I’m currently President and CEO of Philadelphia Premier Cardiovascular Consultants LLC, as well as the founder of Community Cardiovascular Initiative (CCI), a non-profit organization that focuses on providing integrated cardiovascular health and wellness education to underserved communities. The goal of CCI is to improve cardiovascular health disparities and the quality of health delivery in the Philadelphia area
I actively volunteer for several community health initiatives including the American Heart Association, Committee for Multicultural Initiative; Association of Black Cardiologists, Committee for Community Programs. In addition, I have served on advisory boards for pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer, Alnylam and Boston Scientific Closing the Gap Program. I serve on the advancement committee at Malvern Preparatory School and as the chair of the board of directors at Center in the Park.
I am originally from Haiti, though I immigrated to the US when I was 16. Once here, I married, started a family and pursued what I hope is an illustrious medical career. I have been quoted in several print magazines including Men’s Health, The Hill and I frequently serve on medical expert panels and keynote speaking engagements.
